An introduction to my recent favorite book
1. I'm yellow and white, and I'm a little blue (Brady Mikako)
This book depicts from author's point of view the poverty and discrimination issues her son going to the school in British felt. The main character felt that there was no place in Japan or England. As he interacts with classmates of various races in various economic environments, I was touched by the way he found important things.
2.Wall of death (Takeshi Yourou)
Mr.Yourou is a forensic researcher at the University of Tokyo.
When he went to get the body for research in a room on the 12th floor of a housing complex, he took it with him, and when he got into the elevator, he couldn't get in and had no choice but to stand up and carry it.
At that time, he found out that this housing complex was not built on the assumption that people would die.
In this way, in modern society, there is a tendency to keep death away, and I am concerned about this. It is a book that makes you think again about how to face the death of modern people.
